A year ago today my life changed. I met someone. I was completely oblivious at the time, that she would completely shatter and rebuild my very existence. I was wallowing in self pity, travelling deeper into the depths of despair but she saw something in me. Something she liked.
A year down the line, i’m chuffed as punch she took a chance on me. Despite our arguments, our trials and tribulations we remain strong, supporting each other through the best and worst. She has the uncanny ability to pull my head out of my arse; a trait only my mother shares. She’s not just my opposite, my counterpart, my soulmate; or whatever you want to call it. She is my life. And life is good.
